"As a paediatrician, I focus on caring for children from infancy to adolescence. I prioritise attentive listening to ensure a collaborative approach in meeting each child's needs, fostering a supportive environment for families to promote their health and well-being."

About me

Dr. Andrew Lee is a Specialist Paediatrician with expertise in caring for patients of all ages, from newborns to teenagers. He is known for his attentive listening and dedication to incorporating his patients’ and families’ goals into their care plans, ensuring a collaborative approach to long-term health.

Andrew has a strong interest in neonatology and general paediatrics. Whether he’s supporting newborns at the Mater Mothers Hospital or providing follow-up care in the clinic, he is committed to helping children navigate important milestones with expert care and compassion.

With many years of experience in paediatric medicine across Southeast Queensland and a role as a senior neonatal registrar at the Mater Mothers Hospital NICU, Andrew brings a wealth of knowledge to his practice. He is also passionate about teaching and contributes to the medical field by interviewing prospective UQ medical students and assessing final-year paediatric students as an examiner.

Andrew is bilingual in English and Mandarin. When he’s not saving the world one kid at a time, you might catch Andrew on the golf course trying to avoid sand traps or at the chessboard plotting his next move. At home, his toddler daughter keeps him on his toes—though they both agree that gardening is a plantastic way to relax.
