Our consultant Paediatricians at Paedsdoctor provides private paediatric specialist services, and do not offer bulk-billing service. For consultations, you will be requested to pay the full amount on the day by credit card or EFTPOS. Rebates are provided by Medicare if eligible and we can facilitate Medicare online claiming on your behalf.

Newborn In-patient care
Our paediatricians charge a fee for newborn care which include birth attendance, medical assessment after birth and subsequent daily review in hospital. Rebates may be available from Medicare if eligible. If your baby requires special care nursery admission, any fee will be charge to private health fund. Please contact our reception for details.

Baby support clinic / Lactation Service - Lactation consultant midwife
1. Telehealth (First 6 weeks post partum)
Our lactation consultant midwife provides a bulk-billed online video telehealth service (20-40 mins). For non-eligible families, an out- of-pocket fee up to $50 applies.

2. Face-face / drop in clinic review
If ongoing support required, we offer a Lactation consultant midwife follow up in clinic.
Total cost: $120

3. Home visit
Our Lactation consultant midwife can provide home visit (pending distance and availablity)
